I'm going to Academy in Plano later today to get some boxing gear. I'll stop by the gun counter and have a chat. Maybe, but this is the same kind of "throttling" you would see in supermarkets if there was a sudden run on items like milk, bottled water, etc (those of us that have or do live in hurricane areas have seen this). Prevents black market scalping (or in this case, GunBroker scalping). I'm not saying this is a policy I would take myself, but it's a valid way to keep inventories available for all customers. You probably wouldn't like it if I bought up a month's worth of Academy's 5.56 ammo and then sold it for 4x the price at my place.RottenApple wrote: BTW, this "1 box per caliber per customer per day" thing they are doing is ridiculous.
