10 MILLION GUN OWNERS MARCH ON WASHINGTON, DC.

http://www.gunmarch.com/

From the website:

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" The Second Amendment

Saturday May 25th, 2013

The National Mall, Washington D.C.

Calling all Gun Owners and Patriots you are cordially invited to attend the first 2nd Amendment rally at The National Mall in Washington D.C. on Saturday May 25th 2013 at Noon Eastern Time (Tentatively Pending Sponsors). We are hoping to attract up to 10 Million Gun Owners/Patriots to the National Mall for a rally to show our support for the 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects and insures the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

Once we have secured the venue we will confirm the date and time. This is a grass roots endeavor so any national celebrities that would like to help please contact us at the e-mail address below.

The United States Supreme Court has ruled that the 2nd Amendment protects an individual right to possess and carry firearms.

We are hoping that law abiding citizens show up for a peaceful rally bringing signs that show support for our rights. Please do the right thing when attending so we do not have any incidents that would disparage our cause.

I am going even if I have to sleep in my Super Duty.

I would go, but they won't let me have my guns there - even in my car :banghead:

I am not taking something like that seriously unless the major gun rights organizations are sponsoring it.

The linked web page has a gmail address and the page counter shows 15,000 views. Seriously? This could be some pimply-faced 17 year-old posting from his mom's basement.

Now, if the NRA announces a March on Washington, I am arranging my vacation time and going. I'll be going armed as well.

No joke..

And why may 25th? Shod be a couple weeks later so it is during the summer time, not during the last week of school. There are a lot of pro 2a families and if it was during the summer it would be easier to make it a vacation trip with the family instead of missing it due to kids having school.

I'm looking to get farther away from DC, not closer to it.

Ever been to DC? Park in VA and take the metro in. Gun stays in car (well hopefully stays in your car...). Wouldn't want to try to drive inside the beltway anyway

Why don't Pro 2A Nation wide business owners just stop selling to DC?
Cut off their supply of food!

Bread & water in the Congressional Lunch rooms and the same when they get to their residences........

Pro 2A Power Companies cut power to DC. No heat!

Local Gasoline suppliers raise prices to 50.00 a gallon!

See how they like that! :cheers2:

Pipe dream? Yes.....but it would get their attention!

The idea of cutting off fuel and food to the enemy is appealing
However; It will hurt the pro-gun side as well

I will attend as well if the NRA and others get behind the effort. At this time I will take a wait and see approach but I promised myself that the next Pro 2A Rally in DC I would attend. I would love to be part of 10 million or more Salt of the Earth Americans descending on Washington.
