Thousands of armed vigilantes have taken over a town in Mexico and arrested police officers after their 'commander' was killed and dumped in the street.
The self described 'community police' and arrested 12 officers and the town's former director of public security, who they accuse of taking part in the killing of Guadalupe Quinones Carbajal, 28, on behalf of a local organised crime group.
The 1,500-strong force has also set up improvised checkpoints on the major road running through Tierra Colorado, which connects the capital Mexico City to Acapulco, a coastal city popular with tourists less than 40 miles away.

Good for them, maybe the citizens can do what Mexican law enforcement refuse to do.

That's why Austin Police Chief wants to help the South Korean Leader by testifying to Congress how evil the inanimate object called a gun is so they can invade after nuking Austin
Wonder if that town in Mexico had a "criminal/illegal Mayor against guns"

It was inevitable. At some point, if you have any manhood at all, you decide that if you're going to have to die, you're at least going to go down shooting.

The Rifleman TV show in the 1960s had at least 2 separate episodes about Marshals making North Fork a Gun-Free zone ... neither ended well.
Reality today isn't different that the outcome then....
I've concluded ... Democrats watched the wrong channels as kids. What is common sense truth/reality, they can't comprehend, but they are all about feelings.

I thought according to the Mexican constitution that gun ownership was a 'right' but the government makes it almost impossible for an ordinary citizen to legally own one (Hmmm - sound familiar?)
