Are there and laws that stand out that I should be aware of regarding concealed carry?

All three states honor a Texas CHL. In general, you should be fine if you stay out of government building, religious buildings, and bars. I know that's a broad brush but I'm not a lawyer and try to err on the side of caution in other states.

If you get pulled over or approached by a Louisiana LEO,
in an official capacity, you
MUST inform him/her that you are carrying concealed. Stay safe and enjoy your trip.

My best advice about Louisiana is to bypass New Orleans. The rest of the state is pretty well firearms friendly, but N.O. is a whole other ballgame. I've read of them confiscating firearms if folks can't produce a receipt for said firearm, and saying that it might be stolen. The individual is told to go to the station to retrieve it, but when they get there, the individual cannot find anyone who knows anything about it.
