Put this under crime blotter because I believe the deputy's negligence was criminal.

Just terrible.

This is why every child needs to learn gun safety at an early age. ( to make up for the careless actions of adults )

What a horrible lesson for him to learn. His carelessness cost him his wife. I would not want to be in his shoes. He will be haunted for the rest of his life.

The comments on that article are merciless....the anti's are more or less rejoicing in the tragedy....course I guess the real surprise would be if they didn't.

If you are going to prosecute the deputy, lets prosecute all of those tragic incidents.

I have no problem with that. I don't believe him being a deputy has anything to do with it. I would feel the same way if he was a construction worker.

I'm not of the opinion this man should be prosecuted; he has been punished enough. What a horrible accident, very sad.

Unless of course he hated his wife. Statistically there's a decent chance they were about to get a divorce.

I don't think the guy should be prosecuted until an investigation is conducted that shows gross negligence. If the investigation does not show gross negligence then he should not be prosecuted. Whether or not you or I feel that he has been punished enough shouldn't have anything to do with it.
