Thanks for posting Andy.

I caught a little of Joe Pags?? (not sure of the spelling) this evening on my way home from dinner. He and his callers kept repeating "the government does this and that" and I thought to myself that there in may lie the problem. We think of "the government" as some ethereal entity so much of the time, when we should realize it's individuals who are answerable to we the people that make up that government. We may think we're up against some immovable behemoth, but it's time to put our elected officials to the task of holding themselves and other responsible. We have an opportunity to keep the wrong-doers in the limelight and need to support them in the fight.

:iagree: But I'm afraid it will never happen. Listen to any of the "conservative" talk shows, Hanity, Limbaugh, Fergusen, levin, etc, and you'll hear nothing but the same from hosts, guests, and callers. And even if all of those suddenly switched tracks, I don't think it would matter. Well over half (I think it's closer to 3/4) of the electorate are either socialists, on the dole, or apathetic about the subject.

Perhaps your are right.

But I'm encouraged with the number of people who have bought guns and ammo over the past number of months. I'm encouraged that more of the electorate seems to "get it.". The abuses of the Federal government (both parties) seem to be striking a cord with the American people. I think many of them are unclear about what action to take. The GOP as offered very little alternative to the Socialist Dems, preferring instead to be "Democrats Lite." It is all the same cloth, just a different part of the bolt.

I'm working hard to break out of the circle of people that I know, 99% of which feel the same way that I do, and to reach others who yet may be unaware of what is really happening. I pray every day that the MSM will fail of is own excesses. More people need to understand the Matt Drudge is a better source of information than Sulzbergers.
