Judge Confronts Zimmerman

Post by Superman »

This made me sick when I watched it. What are you supposed to do when the judge presiding over your case is biased against you? This made my stomach curl... I wonder if she is wanting a mistrial so we can all have a round 2 trial? My opinion is she should be fired or at least demoted for this, but of course nothing will come of it.

I think the judge is on Zimmerman's side. She is giving plenty of reasons for granting an appeal if Zimmerman is convicted.

On the flip side attorneys DO NOT want their clients to talk. She was reaching out to Z to see if he wanted to talk or not because ultimately it is Z's decision. It was not IFO the jury so it really doesn't bother me.

I read that it was in front of the jury...I'll have to find the article that stated that again.

:nono: What is going on with this Judge? Maybe she is setting up an appeal of the trial? But I am not lawyer but I have watched Perry Mason as child.

IANAL but I once did stay in a holiday inn express. If this goes poorly for Mr. Zimmerman this sets the stage for an excellent appeal for the judge biasing the jury.

I saw this bit on FOX, a young friend had asked a question so I tuned in. One of their analysts said that the Judge was possibly trying to plan the time for the next couple of days, but could have handled it better, and Z's lawyer probably wasn't expecting this question until further down the line so Z wasn't prepped which is why he looked shocked and his lawyer looked and acted peeved. Another analyst was wondering if the judge has a cruise scheduled, but they all said it was probably about time management. Apparently the question is normal, but the timing isn't quite.

I don't know if it was with the jury present, but after the first exchange during the recess she stated she intended to ask George the same question again after the recess.

The problem is not that she asked Zimmerman if he wanted to testify. The problem was that she asked Zimmerman if he wanted to testify BEFORE the defense rested. That was highly improper. That is why the defense attorney objected. That was discussed yesterday on the Mark Levin show.

The judge is a Democrat doing Obama's bidding. She is the one who belongs in prison, not GZ.

Do you know that GZ is a registered Democrat, right? (Maybe you shouldn't let that get out until after the verdict)

Darn.. A registered Democrat that has a handgun, that's going to screw up the stereotyping around here.
