First 4 hour class

Went off without a hitch, no problems with question 1 on the test, when pointing out and asking most read it as (for) to begin with. 9am to right at 3pm for 26 students. The test had one student finish in 9 minutes all of them by 17 minutes. Had a lot of question #3 answered wrong as they did not read all of the answers.
Changed the word has to had about question three, nothing wrong with the question, most students are not reading all the way through the question before they answer it, and are getting it wrong.

9 to 3 has to sound a lot more attractive to first timers than 7 to 6. Glad it went well. I assume a class of 10 or less could even be a 9 to 2.

We also did a class. It was a little nerve wracking for me, as I was constantly watching the clock. But, the students seemed to be fine with it. Classroom was 1:00 to 6:00, then off to the range.
More students missed question #2 than any other. Not sure why - it was certainly covered. I think that "effective consent" threw them off. And, question #11 seemed to give a few of them problems. But all passed. Out of 25 students, only one missed more than 2.
Range time, as usual, was the best part of the day!
Next class is Saturday, 9:00 to 2:00. I hope to have more of the kinks worked out by then.

Are you charging the same price for the classes?
(I hope so)

Expenses did not change just because the class is a little shorter. So, yes - class fee is the same.

I decided to put the first one off until Wednesday night and have a little more time for duck alignment. Dove hunting in the meantime. Limited out yesterday then just got 4 this morning. The survivors from yesterday got wiser; mostly 60 yards up and 60 mph.

Same with my class. No problems, but I felt like I was talking a mile a minute to keep it on track!

I keep having that discussion with my other half and she IS going to make time out of her busy schedule to take this course!

Glad to hear it. I think there will be many more like her.
