This one was a well planned target. No idea what they would have done if she had not opened the door, but she did.

KINGWOOD – A mother and her four young children endured a 30 -minute nightmare as four armed suspects tore up their Kingwood home.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 21800 block of Whispering Forest Drive in the Kings Manor subdivision.
Sajida Shah heard knocking at the door. She noticed the man who was knocking was wearing what appeared to be a blue postal uniform.
He and three others stormed inside the house after Shah cracked the door open.
β€œHe punched me, two, three times. Both my nose and my lip,” explained Sajida Shah.

My daughter has seen me carry in the house since she can remember and there is nothing unusual about it to her. I normally keep the M4 next to my bed, but the last couple of days I've brought it out into the living room next to my seat. She noticed it yesterday and asked why it was out. With all the gifts being purchased, BGs are going to be bolder and there will be more break-ins like this. Tis the season everyone. Be careful out there and inside your own homes. When you bring gifts inside the home from your vehicle pay attention if there is another vehicle watching you. Or if someone follows you from the store.

It might just be me but it seems Houston has a lot of violent crime.

I am sure that Sajida Shah thinks so.
