Going to pickup family @ Love Field this evening. This will be my first time going there since the new terminal is open. I take it same rules apply ?? Okay to enter terminal and wait, just do not go or attempt to go into secure area while carrying.

That sounds right. As long as there is no 30.06 and you stay out of the secured area you should be GTG. :tiphat:

Sold them some switchgear. Glad it's up and running.

Last time I was at Love Field, the new terminal was posted with 30.06 signs.

I was there at the end of October, and didn't see any 30.06. I have noticed 30.05 in the past, though.

Went there last yesterday evening as planned. A "Firearms are Prohibited on this Property" on the entry doors but no 30.06. I went on in.

They can post 3006 all they want and you can just walk right past it, love field is city owned and 3006 does not apply

Has anyone been arrested for concealed carry past the 30.06 signs at Love Field?

I couldn't find any but may have missed one or more.

I was at Love Field today. The doors that open from sidewalk to ticket counter and the doors entering terminal from the tunnel coming from the parking garage both only have a gunbuster signs and wording to the effect of "no firearms allowed." I did not see 30.06/07 anywhere around, on or near the doors. I didn't look anywhere else, figuring if they were not on the doors they would not be some place else. These are the only doors I went through.

They should be fined for these beginning next week.

Places cannot be fined for a gunbusters sign to my knowledge. The fine comes if they are posted 30.06/07, but they legally can't, such as the unsecured area of a police station, or the other city buildings.

According to the AG opinion they could be fined for trying to restrict access to licensed carriers carrying.

A gun busters sign does not restrict access to a CHL/ LTC holder. Only a 06/07 sign does that. Same way the gun busters sign at my local gas station doesn't prevent me from carrying inside.

That's how I understand it also. You can't be fined for an invalid sign (form/function)... Someone correct me if wrong.
