Dang. Wonder if the handgun was in her purse or in a glovebox other type location.
I agree, on body carry is best. I teach my students the Alpha, Bravo and Charlie designations. I order of preference;
Alpha; strong side on the person
Bravo; elsewhere on the person
Charlie; Off body.

I agree, no SA. I think the biggest issue is not carrying on person. It's another confirmation for me, keep it on person.

That's from 2013. This was the officers personal vehicle and was basically carjacked at a gas station. Totally different.

A trend needs at least two data points. Maybe it's just coincidence they're both DPD.
