A quick read gives me the impression that carrying for self defense is only allowed on your own property. That's not very helpful.

Gee, military and law enforcement can carry for personal protection but us peasants can only carry for hunting and target shooting? Sorry, but do not care for anything phrased like that.

But... Section 7 says that is not correct...
The way I read section 7... anyone 18 and over can carry anywhere not specifically prohibited.
Did I miss something? It looks to me that Section 7 stands on its own and is not an extension or condition on section 6...
Could be I read that wrong....
A. A person shall be permitted to carry loaded and unloaded
shotguns, rifles and pistols, open and not concealed and without a
handgun license as authorized by the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act
