What firearm do you buy over and over?

I have a Marlin bolt action .22 that my dad got in the 60's. I reconfigured and refinished the stock and had it re-blued. It's a Marlin Model 80DL and I could take the head off a match at 50 feet with the simple iron sights. (had good eyes back then ) There is a sentimental attachment to the rifle, but there's just something about those little rifles appeals to me. Marlin has made the same basic bolt action from 1934 until the recent XT series. Marlin made these rifles for most of the older big box stores, Sears, Wards, Western Auto, JC Penney and even some smaller outfits and they are abundant on the used market. I haven't examined the XT, but it too looks like an improved model of their venerable bolt action repeater series with an improved trigger. I have purchased several of these rifles in different generations, even a .22 WMR and I'm always looking for a good deal on another. They will never be a valued collectors item. I've given three of them to my daughters for their children when they get old enough to shoot, but even that isn't the reason I buy them. (it's a sickness I think) It made me wonder if any of you have a weapon that you already have, but would buy again and again. There are other weapons I have duplicates of, but this one just gets me going. So any repeat offenders out there?

Edited for post title clarification

Sorry TAM I should put more thought into the title. Do you buy these over and over? All are excellent choices.

If you meant, "do you regularly buy over and over", then the answer would be none of them. I have examples of all except the M1A, and I used to have one of those. I would gladly buy another if I had the money for it right now. That goes for each of the ones I listed......If I didn't currently own one, I'd make it my business to remedy that. But no, there is no single model of gun that I do buy over and over again; so I guess I misunderstood the question. Sorry.

There was a time when I was  over CZ 452's. I quit after eight.
I'm now air gun  , seven in the past 12 months. (Yeah I know, air guns are not firearms in Texas.)

1911s

I've sold a few and still own 4, not counting my Sig P238 & P938, which function like little 1911s.

Two 1911, 3 Remington 700, 2 High Standard Supermatic Trophy, 3 Colt Detective Special, 2 Colt Officer Model ... I think that's it.

Any Colt double action revolver in .38 or .357. I love those, especially the circa 1970.

:iagree: I also have a 4" Python, but would also like a 2.5 and 6 inch, and one of the Anacondas. I really miss the craftsmanship of the old Colt Revolvers. :cryin

If I had the funds, I would have lots of Garands, M1903s, M1917s, Parker and LC Smith double barrel shotguns, and Colt Single Action Army revolvers. With a footlocker or two of 1911s and High Powers for good measure. :tiphat:

I have had at least a dozen AR-15s over the last 4-5 years. Currently only have 3.
