Anybody else having trouble with RSD?

I have been trying to submit two CHL-8 forms to RSD and they won't go through. I've tried turning off my virus protection and my firewall no luck. I get a busy signal at the phone number provided, go figure.

I presume you're going thru the contact website -- http://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/contact/default.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ?
Did you remember to click Upload before clicking Submit?
Did you fill out all the required info?
What error did you get -- why do you think it didn't go thru.

A little more info than "it doesn't work" might help us to help you.

(Is it a PDF form, you're sending?)

Yes, that's the website and yes it is a PDF and yes I clicked download. I don't know if it is a problem on my end or on their end. I am using a new Laptop, my old one bit the dust and sent all my files into deep cyberspace. Thank the lord for cloud backup I was able to recover all the important stuff.

When I click submit nothing happens.

That usually indicates a JavaScript error on the page. They won't know about it unless someone complains.

It worked for me using Chrome. You can keep trying or mail in as not to lose time.

Newer laptops have newer browser versions. New browsers are getting more and more security conscious about things like Java.
That's tech-speak for: Try a different computer and/or browser.

I've had similar problems in the past like you describe.

In my case, if the size of the upload docs were too big, the State's site behaved in this same way. I would suggest you rescan your docs at
a lower resolution and try again. (for me, under 500k worked)

Good Luck, Let us know if you find a fix.

Specifically, I mean under 500k in size. If I recall correctly, scanning at 300dpi is what did the trick.

Are you sure you filled out all the required info? like DOB? I am surprised at some of the fields that are NOT required vs. those that are.
