Just Received My Plastic

Hello all! I just received my CHL in the mail and figured it is about time I should make an account here.

I am a 25 year old Navy vet who has been hunting and shooting for over a decade now, I have had extensive practice and try to go to the range every weekend to get a little better. The gun I have now to carry is an XDS 9mm with a Crossbreed IWB holster.

One thing I am disappointed in is the fact that my CHL for some reason has my old address on it, an address that is almost a year old. I immediately went to the website and paid the fee to get an accurate CHL even though I'm about to move yet again in a couple months, but I want to be legal and especially responsible about this. What I am unsure of is if I can even carry now seeing that the address is outdated? My license has my correct address and I have already updated my info and paid the fee, but do I need to wait for the correct plastic to carry or am I legally safe to do so now? I'll have to do more reading. In any case, thank you all for the wealth of information here!

The address being incorrect does not make the CHL invalid. Failing to update the address makes it subject to being suspended, but unless it is actually suspended, it is still valid.
