Dear Sriracha, please move to Texas.

We like hot sauce.

A factory that produces the popular Sriracha hot sauce has 90 days to better contain its fumes after a decision by a California city council to label it a public nuisance.

Saw this earlier. Forget the cattle ranchers, Government has gone too far this time

Twenty or so years ago, the Frito-Lay plant in Inving, TX used to release some early a.m. obnoxous odors.

I really, really need my daily dose of grease and caffene, but the Frito-Lay odor of rancid grease was too much. I like bacon in the skillet and bread in the oven, but that was an overdose.
Much better was the smell when driving anywhere in the area of Mrs. Bairds Bakery.

I used to enjoy the aroma from Maxwell House in Houston unless they burned the batch.

I used to live in Burlington, WI we has a Nestle factory there the smells were awesome and fattening.

When I lived in California, I would drive by the McCormick-Schilling factory on the way to work.
You could tell which spice they were processing that week from the smell.
On the other hand, the smell of the fermenting sugar beets from the Spreckels sugar plant was nasty.

In another life, I drove through Hershey, PA on occasion. I don't remember an odor, either pleasant or not.
Interesting ride 'tho.
My bride agrees with you. Odors can cause weight gain.
Since there is a Budweiser plant in Houston, maybe that explains their assinine behavior.
Austin doesn't have that excuse unless its the proximity to u.tee.

Down town there is no odor. Go for a tour of the plant......we'll nuff said. Loved their street lights and signs.

I live about 5 blocks from there (now Maximus Coffee Group) and love that smell.

I work by Kraft in Garland and we joke about what the "smell of the day" is. Italian salad dressing day is not so bad. Anything is better than the wastewater treatment plant smell on Centerville Rd.
