Maybe 13-15 lbs. It should do the job, but is it too heavy?

Should I bring it out tomorrow? If you say yes, I will have to comply. We debated what to shoot and we settled on my SIG 556 and my SIG M400 both are scoped. If we get this rig out, it would be nice to try it out in the tunnel.

You can bring anything out you want. I'm not opposed to spending some time in that tunnel. The best test on it being too heavy would be the cinema range and see if you can hold it up that long.

I guess that depends on what you're planning on doing. I've never weighed my FNAR but I'm guessing it's not 15 pounds and I wouldn't want to haul that thing around a deer lease. If I'm just going to setup somewhere and try to pop varmints, then it's ok. I definitely know that I'm not going to haul around my Barrett 99 unless I mount it to the Jeep.

Thank you for letting me shoot your rifle. Once i got used to the sight picture that was an amazing scope. The trigger pull on it couldnt be any better either.

Now, I have 2 rifles, the TikkaT3 at around 6.5 lbs naked (no scope or bipod) is ideal for hunting.
For bench rest shooting or prone shooting up to 1000 yrd, then it would the Styer.

Recommendation for all: get into hand loads if you are target shooting.
