RIP. The other Priest was injured. Mother of Mercy Mission. I'd probably violate a bunch of forum rules if I wrote more.

What a sad situation.

Some years ago I read about a Catholic priest who was in a bad neighborhood somewhere in the US and met a lot of sketchy characters.
He carried a Glock 26.

Too bad the priests involved in this crime didn't have firearms for protection.

Wow....I wish I could say I am surprised. Sadly there is no fear of any authority in some of today's criminals, not even the one that can wipe you out in a moment. I would not want to be in their shoes on judgement day.

They are accepting donations to help his family with funeral expenses. If anyone would like to contribute they can do so here: http://Www.gofundme.com/fr-Kenneth-walker

The above link contains a picture of the murderer, who has been arrested.

It turns out the priest did have a .357 firearm, but the BG gained control of it and shot the gun-wielding
priest's fellow priest.

Looks like one of them did, just didn't get to it in time.
"Badly injured, the 56-year-old Terra made it to his bedroom and retrieved his .357-caliber gun but was unable to fire before the attacker grabbed it, forced the priest to his knees and demanded money, according to court records."
