Just hand over what they want, they will go away they say. Yeah, right.
HOUSTON -- A robbery victim was shot even after handing over his belongings, police said late Sunday.

If the store had posted a "No robbery" sign this all could have been avoided.

Don't forget the "no shooting people" sign.

I've pondered this dilemma for years...when is it time to fight back?
Not to over simplify but once the intention to harm has been announced and the means to do so is presented and I can't escape the situation safely; the rest is tactics.
What do y'all good people think?

I think I'll stay out of Houston and most other large cities.

The time to fight back is before the BG expects you to be able to, or the next millisecond when you can.
What I mean by that is that your situational awareness should be alerting you to potential problems before you have to go into RED, and if that doesn't happen, you jump there just as soon as possible and keep fighting until the threat has been eliminated, or you can no longer fight.
Of course, the "as soon as possible" varies, but I'm firmly convinced that fortune favors action over inaction.

Any time I read about that stupid canard I think of Clayton Williams.
