A 25-year veteran of DPD may lose his job next week if the department doesn't believe that two pistols he bought and filled out the 4473's for ( and he admitted that he lied on the 4473 forms when he bought guns for other police officers, but the feds, for one reason or another, have decided not to prosecute him for those offenses) were stolen. The guns wound up with a couple, both members of a Venezuelan police shooting team, and they told BATFE that the officer had bought guns for them on different occasions.

Seems to me like he should lose his job. I disagree completely with 99% of Federal gun laws so "adios" for the 10 dollar bus fare thing...

More of that prosecutorial discretion thing that is applied so justly by the feds.

It is DPD, so admitting to a pattern of criminal behavior and fraud doesn't necessarily mean he'll lose his job.

Lose? No. Upgrade? Most likely.
