I have seen that as well. That type of thinking appears pretty regularly it seems in many news stories / articles. If you look at the actual news reports, etc. of each shooting incident, quite often, it is something like a drug deal gone bad in a school parking lot at 2am Sunday morning, etc. but it still counts as a "school shooting" for the antis to skew the statistics.SewTexas wrote:CoffeeNut wrote:CNN is saying its an off campus shooting so I suppose anything near a school is close enough to call it a school shooting these days. one article I read actually said that any shooting within x number of feet, a rather large number, was being considered as a "school shooting", even if it had nothing at all to do with the school, or the students.
If this is related to the same article I read on CNN, it happened at the roadside near the campus, and students that attended the school were shot, then fled to the school. It was supposedly gang related, as the specific school was a "trouble-maker" campus, and all the other circumstances.gthaustex wrote:I haveI have seen that as well.
