I thought this was another post about why holsters were needed until I read the story.

I would say he is no longer a "friend". Ouch. :fire :anamatedbanana

I'm sorry, it's just hard to take serious a report from "WINK" news. ;-)

I've actually seen this several times, although it was always a gangbanger stuffing a gun down the front of his pants, "mexican carry" style. Gun goes off, resulting in through and through injuries to Big Jim and the Twins. They always have some ridiculous story made up to explain it. I laughed so hard I cried each time I saw it.

I had a partner who, on one of our calls that resulted in a similar gunshot injury to "the boys" started laughing so hard I thought she was going to fall out due ot lack of air. The family complained to our supervisor, and when he interviewed her, the way she told the story got both of them laughing so hard...

Me? I was having sympathy pains!

What got me was when he said "I think" when talking about where he was shot. I pretty sure you would know for sure if you had been or not.

Not necessarily. It's not uncommon for a traumatic injury to not hurt.

I discovered this for myself, years ago when I cut the end of my thumb almost completely off with a circular saw. It didn't hurt at all. I just couldn't feel anything.

I wonder if his voice got higher pitched after the screaming stopped. I'm guessing the State would take care of the bill for finishing the gender change. Maybe a little grinding, sanding and buffing...
