The good folks of Louisiana need to make sure Justice is served.

If not for cell phone video, 47-year-old disabled veteran Douglas Dendinger could be going to prison — because of an apparent coordinated effort by Washington Parish, La. cops and prosecutors who falsely accused him of battery and witness intimidation.

I lived much of my life in SE LA. The only thing I miss is the food. When we lived there the only thing more crooked than the cops were the politicians. Seems like every mayor of NO for several decades wind up going to jail. Witnesses to crimes would disappear because if the criminal they were going to testify against didn't get them the dirty cops would. Progress was vertually impossible because everyone wanted to be paid off. Looks like things haven't changed much.

That reads badly. It reads as a group of individuals that could make up whatever they wanted to get what they wanted...

"...since two prosecutors and several police officers had seen him hand over the summons peacefully"

Yikes.

Record everything...

"Could be looking at serious ethics charges..."

Why haven't they already been arrested and charged is what I want to know.
