Does anyone know if the water has receded from the facilities and if so when they might open again? Finally get some time off and would like to shoot sporting clays and try skeet the 3rd and 4th. 150 mile drive so just can't drive to Dallas for the heck of it. Wife is ready for a break and so am I.

I was just talking to my son last night about getting out and shooting some skeet soon. He has Wednesdays off, so it will have to be a Wednesday. Unfortunately, this Wednesday is already booked up for a trip to Parker County to teach my neighbor to shoot rifles.

Since you're already going to be in the western portion of the metromess, why not try out Fossile Pointe, northeast of Decatur in Slidell. They've got a very nice setup there.

Would love to. If enough folks are unaware of their re-emergence it might not be too crowded.

Checking in to see if there was any more interest in doing this today. Doesn't look like it.

I came to the same conclusion. Not enough time to plan it, I guess.
Oh well. It looks like my time today has already been spoken for anyway.
