I just watched a news segment about a doubling of the murder rate year over year for Milwaukee. Almost the entire segment was about teens killing teens. In an interview with the city Chief of Police (Political hack), the Chief said there were three reasons for the murder rate. (1) the concealed handgun laws, (2) the lack of background checks on all gun purchases and (3) no requirement for stolen guns to be reported. I think rational people could have a discussion on #3, but the first two have NOTHING to do with this type of crime. Until the media starts questioning such lunacy and until the Political leaders find the REAL cause, these murders will keep increasing.

You're preceding from a false assumption if you think the MSM cares about the truth of anything. They care about two things: 1) money, in the short-term, and 2) advancing the collectivist socialist utopia over the longer-term. They didn't ask questions because they were already getting the narrative they wanted to hear. They don't care about the real causes, and in fact, discussion of the real causes is prohibited in the MSM and by the political classes. And after all these years of lying and lip-service from the ruling class it should be obvious that they want what's happening to continue happening because it helps them gain more power and control, and ultimately, wealth, from the corrupt political system.

they can't face the real reason of these murders, because then they would have to face the fact that their worldview is the cause. These kids aren't taught to value life. They aren't taught to respect people. They aren't taught that there is a TRUTH and a RIGHT, and there is WRONG and consequences.

Comforting since I am headed there tomorrow
