Just got my plastic & now looking at holsters. My question is on iwb holsters like CBST & Alien gear type holsters, how much pressure do the put against your body? The reason I ask is I had an accident yeas ago where I had my pelvis broken & one of the fractures is above my belt line above the rear pocket. This area gets irritated if I put pressure on it & am worried that a holster would rub me wrong in that area & would have to figure a different way to carry, don't want to pocket carry if I can help it but have to do what I have to.

Thanks in advance

Many people carry appendix. I do it with certain pistols and like everything it has advantages and disadvantages. One thing is it will keep it off your back. I also suffer from back problems and there are days I do not need any more weight at the 4 O'clock position.

The Alien Gear type holsters do help distribute the weight of a pistol better than some. The holsters with clips or loops spaced apart help keep your firearm flat and weight distributed.
