Beliefs of mine that pertain to these sorts of events...
- Guns are not always the answer / we should be proficient in the use of many tools.
- Having more guns on the scene during any particular event does not automatically mean that good guys will prevail.
- The possibility of meeting determined, forceful resistance seems to be factored into the planning of the assailants, who typically opt for the path of expected least resistance thereby increasing their chance of causing terror and bloodshed.
- Such events prove that Defense Impairment Zones are more likely violent crime scenes than the name Gun Free Zone would lead you to believe, and rational people should avoid them where possible.
- The assailants in these events are heinous cowards seeking to prey on the weak to become famous for a moment.
- The victims and their loved ones did nothing to put themselves immediately at risk and fault lies solely on the assailant(s)
- Prayer and introspection are called for. The only answer for evil in the world is a preponderance of Good.
