Hello everyone, Matt here from South Texas. Happy to join you all. Just wanted to let everyone know my timeline.

1. CHL class taken 08/08/2015
2. Applied for CHL Application 08/10/2015
3. Electronic fingerprints and uploaded my CHL100 on 08/13/2015
4. Checking the website from 08/14/2015 - 09/03/2015 and no update
5. Called DPS inquiring about the status of my application and the nice lady on the phone told me that the application was approved and that it was sent off to printing and to expect it within the next 10-15 business days. whaaaat???? lol
6. Checked DPS website one more time and it allowed me to make changes!!! :D 09/04/2015

From what I heard people generally get their license within 2 days after the website updates, so hopefully I might get it either Saturday or Monday at the earliest.

So, if you can make changes to address/report lost/stolen on the Texas.gov site, that's an indication of approval? Mine changed to that, on the site, today. :woohoo
