Houston, Texas.
Fortunately the victim of the carjacking is in stable condition.
Not very much information, but does not sound real good.

Ok it is much worse. Witness who shot victim, picked up shell casings and left the scene.

Goes back to the safety rule 'Know your target and what's beyond'.

So it seems they still managed to get his car (though it was recovered) and he got shot in the head.
Other than that his day was great!
I am glad his injuries weren't severe. Maybe a fragment hit him...or maybe just flesh wound?
Witness picked up casings and left....no CHL....knew he screwed up and left...?

CHL or not, he messed up. I wonder if they've contacted, questioned, or arrested the shooter yet.

This makes me wonder if he was really a third party "witness"; maybe it was actually three guys jacking the the truck. The two that ran off with it had to get to the gas station somehow, and when they ditched it, they had to leave the area somehow. hmmm.

Note to self: be thankful for your revolver which leaves nothing on the ground.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Why would they pick up the shell casings and run off....

Blue nitrile gloves. Can find them on sale at Harbor Freight all the time.
