Who is on the waiting list?

I submitted all my instructor's paperwork early June and received an email acknowledgement from DPS on 6/11. Just wounding how long is the wait? Anyone also on the waiting list and how long have you been waiting? For those of you recently scheduled to take the class, when did you submit and when did you get notice to attend the class?
Lastly, how long before you are legally able to teach after you have completed the instructor’s course?

Was in the class this past August. I waited just over two years. I was told that you are good to start teaching as soon as your certificate arrives.

When I took the class we received our certificates at the end, and were good to start teaching immediately.

Cert should have been given out at range after qualification.

It was just over two years in fact. My buddy whom went through the class with me got his notification of a class about a year after we applied and I didn't. He declined and continued to wait until I got mine and it was a long wait.
We finished the course and didn't get anything at that time. Our certificates were mailed out to us about two weeks after our class concluded.
