Hello,

I just received my Instructor's cert in September and mainly did so to help out friends/family members every once in a while who would like to get their permit. As I'm not looking at doing this as a business venture, I'd like to keep the range costs down.

Does anyone know of any ranges in the Bexar/Comal/Guadalupe area that are particularly friendly to small CHL proficiency sessions?

You might try Bexar Community shooting range. I recall seeing a couple of instructors out there giving proficiencies to small groups.
