Has anyone sent a complaint to the City of Fort Worth regarding the 30.06 sign that is posted on the walkway leading to the entrance of the Omni theater?

Nope. Next week I am going to get pictures of the big metal sign at the Children's Museum by the cowgirl museum side of the same building. So if you want to grab both of them, go for it.

I was at the Omni last week and took pictures of the Imax entrance. I plan to send a complaint to the City of Fort Worth either this week or next. If you send one for the Children's Museum, maybe the two complaints to them will mean something.

The pointy heads at the city do not give one single hoot about any complaint from you or me. The AG is going to have to start hitting the ten-grand button before they will comply. Some might see that as a 3.8 million dollar "safety tax" and just pay it.

I believe I have everything ready to send to the Fort Worth City Manager. I plan to snail mail everything, but, I wanted to fax it also. Does anyone have a fax number specifically to him? Or, is it okay to email the notice and picture?
Charles may have answered the email question, but, I haven't found his post.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

For my complaint about the zoo to the city of Fort Worth, I sent faxes to both the city manager's office and the city attorney listed respectively below:
Fax: (817) 392-6134

Have you had a chance to see if they have taken down any of their signs? I wouldn't expect it, but, I guess it could happen.

I don't think that's realistic. A city even the size of Fort Worth is not going to throw away >$3 million a year. Also, I think eventually the AG would ask a court for a mandamus writ forcing the city to take it down.

I think that you'll find that the zoo and the Omni are going to claim ''Educational Institution"'. That's what I read in the Startle-gram. Guess someone will have to push it to the. court.

I think that an AG opinion that an "Educational Institution" is something like a Devry, or Lincoln Tech or some sort of school or training program that leads to a certification or something more substantial than a daycare, zoo, or kids museum will take care of all of this. It would not be too hard for him to do. Worst case, we can get Charles to work on a cleanup bill, or better yet, help Charles get his ultimate goal, no restrictions on where CHLers can carry, period... including so called "Educational Institutions".
Best chances are that our Conservative AG will go out of his way to support gun rights. But we shall see.

Has anyone been to the Fort Worth Museum (Omni theater) in the last week or so? I'm too far away to check to see if they removed their sign, but, I will send the paperwork to the AG as soon as I confirm that they ignored the complaints (mine was faxed to the city on 12/11).

With respect to the museum. They do have a preschool on site and part of the building. It's much more formal than the FW Zoo.
But imo that would still be just a portion of the building.
