Several weeks back I had to put my service dog (Golden Retriever) to sleep because of cancer. I had him for a little over 14 years. When he was given to me I needed him or depending on him a lot. Over the years God has given me a lot of my mobility back. No more wheel chairs, walkers, etc. . .

My wife and I are wanting another Golden Retriever, but we want the right one. I know this may not be an emergency prayer request, but I would request your prayers to find the right dog and maybe he/she can be taught to do some of the things my last Retriever did. Not looking for a "show dog" or even a dog with "papers" just full blood Golden Retriever needs a good home.

Good to hear that. Golden Retrievers are wonderful dogs. We "rescued" one after Rita that was wandering around, had several very large lacerations and was malnourished as well. He's been diagnosed with lymphoma and we'll have to say good-bye before long. They need as much attention and companionship as they give.
