Can students shoot single action when using a revolver for the LTC Range Proficient Test?

I did a mix of single and double. So much time to fire a few shots.

There is no requirement that shooters with a revolver fire DAO.
As long as they can fire safely, and get off the required shots in time, they can shoot however they would like.

You may want to wear a leather glove on your left hand if it is a revolver with a shrouded hammer because you cannot get good leverage, you must use brute force and that will hurt your thumb past 5 or 6 shots. If it is not a shrouded hammer, then be aware that the hammer may snag on your clothes if you are carrying it IWB or in your pocket. You'll have to carry it OWB preferably with a jacket or Miami style with a button down shirt unbuttoned and a t-shirt underneath.
