Military Quilts

My mother and I are working on a special project to create military quilts for Veterans this winter.

We are asking for help in the way of donations of any old military uniforms, tshirts, patches, etc.

This is a non profit project.

While we will be selling some of our quilts to cover supply costs, the objective of this project is to provide quilts to Veterans in need this winter. Over 10% of the homeless population in our area are Veterans so there are plenty of men and women who will benifit from your aid.

If you would like to help please pm me for details.

What a kind and wonderful thought! :clapping:

Our homeless Veterans, deserve more than what they are getting for sure. I'll check my sources for militaria and see what I can come up with. Thank you for thinking of our Veterans. :tiphat:

It's our pleasure. Quilts are so steeped in military tradition and made with so much care and love that it seemed like the perfect combination. We use a twin size winter weight batting so they should be very warm during the winter and be able to be hung for shelter from the sun in the summer.
