If you live in an area where people are prone to ring in the new year with celebratory gunfire, then consider staying inside. I'm not going to start another thread/argument as to whether a free-falling bullet has the energy to kill, or whether it requires ignition at trajectory somewhat below the vertical. I just don't want to log in tomorrow and see a thread "Did you read about Forum Member ______?"
