Someone else in here said it first .... the wait after you see "Application Completed" is far worse than just the "Processing Application" -- haha. I've waited months already but was just assuming a mail screw-up would happen and someone else was going to get stuck receiving my ugly mugshot.

But finally got her in hand since yesterday. Went out to eat with my girlfriend at SaltGrass....first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the "Concealed weapons are prohibitive - guns, etc. " -- no where near 30.06 signage needed. Then today I carried all day with me at work for the first time. It was surprisingly very comfortable.

I have a small frame so I think that makes it way easier to conceal as no one in a million years would know I carry. I carry the springfield sub-40XD with cal-tec holster. Probably will be looking at a 1911 or something in a 45....night sights too for my daily carry... Money pit, here I come!!! :-)

Congratz!

I'm only 5'2", with a very short torso, & I routinely carry a Colt Defender in .45acp. I've been known to carry a full-size 1911.

On my belt, not in my purse.

So yes, it's definitely possible!

(and yes, "money-pit" is a good way of describing it.....)
