Clarification: New LTC-100 & LTC-8

There is some confusion about the deadline for using and submitting the new LTC-100 form. Some instructors have contacted me believing that any CHL-100 submitted by a student on or after Sept. 1, 2017 will be rejected by the DPS and that instructors will have to issue new forms to their students
I have confirmed with DPS that the only CHL-100s that will be rejected are those signed by an instructor for classes on or after September 1, 2017. Many students take a class, but do not apply with DPS for some time thereafter. Since a CHL-100 is good for two years, some instructors were worried that they would have former students contacting them for a new LTC-100.
So, everything is good folks.
