LTC-8 Upload does accept from Mac Computer

I just found out that the DPS site no long accept LTC8 upload via a Mac (first time encountered this problem in tow years) I called Austin and they said I need to go to a library to use a PC to upload. Anyone has similar problem?

I can't for the life of me understand why not... Internet uploads should not be OS specific.. Your on a standard internet connection and uploading either a .jpg or .pdf file? If your using default Safari web browser maybe something there, if so then just use Firefox or Chrome or other standard browser.

Maybe they really meant you needed Internet Explorer. IIRC, at the instructor recert they said that they've had problems with uploads not actually being received even if you get an email saying it was successful. Again, IIRC, the problem seemed to be with browsers other than IE.

FIrst, I have been upload with the same system for the past two years. DPS said they recently changed on their end. Second, the error message specifically mentioned it does not work due to either using a Mac or Firefox.

I am using google Chrome and it would not upload. Called and they indicated Explorer does not work as well. Finally mailed LTC-8 in.

I’ve had that exact same kind of situation happen in a banking matter. Their suggested work around was for me to buy a PC. I changed banks.

Just "tell" them you are using IE / Edge.

Safari (and other browsers for that matter) can present itself as another browser. This may help if you're not using that garbage OS out of Redmond, WA.

These problems don't happen when you have an OS that just works.

Same computer, same software, and one month later, it is working now.
