Hello yall,

Quick question, what address does the state of texas use for the CHL/LTC? The address provided on the CHL form or the current address on your drivers license? I ask because I may have dropped the ball and filled out the form with my new address before changing the address on my drivers license. Everything has been sent to DPS and I'm in the "pending print" status. I just am curious as to what to expect here in a few days, and if I should change my DL address now or wait and see what is on the CHL.

Either way, you need to change the address on your DL, so why wait?

agreed, and I did now. but i'm just curious as to where they are sending the card to, and with what address.

*Update* If anyone cares, or wants to know in the future. DPS uses your address posted on you CHL/LTC application, not your drivers license. The only thing they pull from your DL is the photo.
