With the November 2018 sweep of liberal judges is this what we can expect? I've been reading that many cities are categorizing many criminal offenses as "survival crimes" refusing to prosecute. Maybe 5 aggravated robberies, shooting at witnesses and attempting to shoot at police is a new survival crime in Harris County. This guy was released by Democrat Judge Chris Morton who was elected November 2018.
Jakouri Jones, 18, was able to exchange jail time for his signature

The perp was interviewed after the Florida high school shooting so perhaps the judge thinks he's not a threat.
Ironically, it’s not the first time Jones has been on camera. Last year, following the Florida school shooting, Jones expressed his concerns about violent crime when Fox interviewed students at Bellaire High School.

"It's just sad how we can't go to school and just get knowledge, you know? How we have to be afraid to go to school because someone’s going to shoot up the school, you know? It's very sad," Jones said during the interview.

Jones is now charged with armed robbery.
