The first 10 amendments to the Constitution is the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Needs. I can have a rifle that can hit a target a mile away because I want it. As a free, responsible, law-abiding citizen, that’s all the reason I need.

The problem arises when they decide to force their utopian views on the rest of us! When they send armed people out to take the guns from other armed people....what could go wrong?

Every 4 years, the International Olympics Committee holds a summer celebration of athletics. In the "field" part of the "track & field" competitions, young men and women come from all over the world to throw a javelin to see who can throw one the furthest.

Nobody actually needs a javelin - which has been an absolutely brutal weapon of war for 5000-6000 years now. And NOBODY needs to be able to throw one more than a a couple of feet. Certainly, the IOC should treat javelins the exact same way it has treated firearms competitions in Olympics past, by totally emasculating the sport.

In my neck of the woods, a "Salon" is a place where women go to get their hair cut. I guess I'll have to admit that I am ignorant (uneducated) on what or who "Salon" is in current day culture. I won't say "modern" day culture, because the word modern tends to mean better and more advanced. But much of our culture now days is not more advanced, just more inane and ignorant.

Someone needs to show him a list of Wimbledon Cup winners so that he gets it. With regard to precision, the military strives to reach civilian grade (and benefits greatly from the cooperation of a huge network of active duty, veterans, and civilians).

That dunce has no concept of what military grade means, which is impressive since the arena that he is commenting on operates under a unique civilian military partnership that has persisted since the Revolutionary War despite tectonic changes in military procurement. The most famous American sniper of all time used a weapon that the USMC did not officially field wearing a civilian target barrel (most of those M70s were rebarreled with Douglas target barrels).
