Just wow ! I wonder why he thought it would be a good idea to pull a weapon on a deputy in uniform. And the caller who makes no mention the man is a deputy. Just a guy with a “gun”. Wow. I hope they throw every thing they can on him and he is sentenced to the fullest extent.

He told the deputy to leave and when deputy tries to leave he stops him in the elevator and tries to hold him captive? Wow

I wonder if the deputy had the chance to shot him and did would he have been justified.

Considering that it is a federal building and the deputy can't carry in there unless on official business (which he wasn't), then this shouldn't go anywhere. The deputy was in the wrong, and committing a felony.

Also:
"Gaston is currently on medical leave from the sheriff’s office. He and his wife are seeking compensation and filed a civil lawsuit against both Eklund and the security company for allegedly suffering emotional and psychological distress as well as lost wages."
Something smells fishy.
