I have numerous inquiries from students asking if there are any LTC classes taught in Spanish, I personally do not speak or read Spanish, but wonder if it is available and the official DPS position on this subject?

The class can be taught in Spanish. Art Molina does a class in Espanyol.

I think it is an interesting marketing question. I know of no law or official policy stopping or encouraging any licensed LTC instructor from conducting the class in Spanish. I doubt that there are any statistics available on how many instructors speak any languages other than English.
If any instructor does speak any language other than English fluently enough, I would encourage them to offer classes in that language. I think it could only advance the cause of getting more licensees in Texas.

So how does a Spanish version of the course handles the LTC written test? Will DPS allow the test to be done in Spanish? Is there any official acceptable Spanish version of the test somewhere?

I would suggest you reach out to Art at the link above and see how he does it. I am sure he would be able to answer your questions.
