I get amused by you young whippersnappers, and your adamancy about clip vs. magazine. It was quite common in WWII and VN to call a M1911 bullet holder a "clip".

The kittens part reminded me of one time I ate some Great ribs at a Chinese food buffet. About a week later it was on the news it was cat ribs they were serving. I look at cats differently now

In WW2 the M1 Garand did take a clip, this is why a ammo feeding device is called a clip, however that is incorrect! If it's got a spring in it, IT'S A MAGAZINE!
