hey guys I am curious in knowing how many of y'all are hotshot drivers? I have been driving for 4 years now. I drive a pick-up with a pipe-rack.
I was thinking of starting a forum specifically for hot-shoting in Houston. Is that something any hot shot drivers would be interested in having?

Well no replies hmm... I went ahead and made a forum, and would like to spread the word, but if that is inappropriate let me know, and it not let me know.

Partially correct. a hot shot is when a load needs to get there quick, from point A to point B, and depending on the cargo, any size vehicle may be used from pickup truck to tractor trailers.

Also, are these hotshots legal or illegal? And I don't mean 'murkens vs meskens, I mean legal with a valid CDL.

Yes its legal, most companies require that you have 1,000,000 in liability and 100,000 in cargo insurances.most hot shot companies pay for it and charges thier drivers a fee you only need a CDL if you are hauling more than 26000 pounds
