I know personally and pretty close a couple of churches in Angelina County and another individual that owns fireworks stands. I have said for several years fireworks stands are prime targets for this. Huge amounts of cash on hand. Even if there is a save there the clerks, owners, workers all must have a lot of cash on them. Many celebrators spent $200. 300. - Even $500.00 and nobody takes a check. It is better now that most of them have the portable credit card machines.
Good for these clerks, owners. I don't understand anyone doing that unarmed.
after reading the article I do hope the shooter did not "disarm" one, (maybe the only one armed) then shoot them as they ran away.
Cant trust the lame stream media to tell things in order if another order suits their agenda better.

I would like to know what the clerk did to disarm the bad guy. Did he grab the gun?

I bet the robber sat the gun on the counter!
