Cliff's notes:
16 (or 17, depending on news story) yo interrupted in burglary shot mother and her nephew, set fire to house. Caught, sentenced to 28-1/2 years in prison, served 23, probated. Deputies responding to alarm at house (apparently famous bednbreakfast) near original murder site found the daughter murdered and a man leaping from 2nd story window. Chase ensues, man escapes into lake, his body later recovered and identified as killer of mother and nephew. Some stories say the daughter forgave and befriended him in prison.

Very good reason for Capital Punishment in murder case. You kill him and he can’t kill again.

Recidivism is non-existent if punished properly. Either capital or life without benefit of parole.

That's what you call one of those senseless killings and they will never know why he would come back to kill the daughter of his previous victim. All that taxpayer money wasted on "rehabilitation". The whole thing is stupid and sickening. Some of you may know how much I despise the broken legal system in this country; stories such as this make me despise it even more.
