Any data on Xtreme Bullets 165 grain 9mm with Titegroup powder? So far I'm at 3.2 grains of TG, 1.15 COAL which pushes 850 fps but I'd like to estimate the case pressure, any suggestions.

Provided that Quik-Load has 165 gr. bullets in the database, that's likely as close as you'll get without an actual pressure test of a handload. As far as minor power factor at say 130 with a bit of cushion, you only need 788 FPS to do that.

Now, who here has Quik-Load on their computer? ;-)

Good info here including Quickload data, brass specifics, etc. on the 165 Xtreme and other heavies. Also in my googling- I saw lots of reported use of N-310, as you probably have.

ETA: at 3.2gr TG you are likely way over pressure... the QL data put 2.7 gr TG in the +P range.

Be careful and have fun! :tiphat:

I saw that as well but I also found on the Hodgdon website that the 147 grain at 1.10 COAL is loaded with 3.2 to 3.6 at 22,500 to 27,500 CUP respectively. Of course the CUP vs PSI lead me down another rabbit-hole all together however, I put the 165 grain at 1.15 COAL which should be close to the same chamber space..? In addition I've actually ran about 35,000 of these rounds through my Glocks with no issues so far. :fire I'm just trying to verify if anyone else has.

Thank you for your time and research.

I'm not dedicated enough to reloading to build a Windows machine.

There are two different test methods recognized by SAAMI for Max Average Pressure, or MAP, for the 9 X 19mm: 35,000 PSI and 33,000 CUP. By increasing OACL from 1.100" to 1.150", pressure will be slightly lower. By how much is dependent on the powder used and the pressure generated at 1.100" OACL. With a very fast burning powder like TiteGroup, the difference will be slight, however. ;-)
