Re: Is deadly forced justified when construction company try
Aside from all the legal mumbo-jumbo...lets look at this another way. You want to take the life of a bulldozer operator who is doing what his boss tells him because he needs to feed his 3 kids at home? :headscratch You want to make those 3 kids orphans and his wife a widow? :???: You would seriously...

Re: Kentucky Man Shoots Down Drone Hovering Over His Yard
While I think there are a few idiots out there spying on girls at the pool, the vast majority of recreational drone pilots are just nerds that like to fly and take cool pictures. I was flying mine this evening and it crash landed in my neighbor's yard (I just got it this week and am learning with my...

Not sure why this story is making the rounds again on the interwebs...but this happened in 2009.

I have carried my XDS 9 in a Remora for about 2 years now. It works in a pocket or IWB very well. Prior to using the Remora, I had the Nemesis by DeSantis and I liked it a lot too.

I have no problem with it. Consider it social justice.mojo84 wrote:I don't consider a week of with pay as punishment. Sounds more like vacation to me. Yeah, I know it goes in his personnel file but if he doesn't get in further trouble, the end result is a week of paid vacation.

Re: Current SCOTUS may not be reliable on next 2d am case
Correct JALLEN...I also believe that Roberts was one of the most conservative SCOTUS nominees that Bush could get through the democratically controlled senate at the time. Getting a Clarence Thomas on the court was a fight and the liberal media did all they could to block it. In the end, the democra...

Under the new legislation, they are not going to be allowed to post 30.06 (enforceable or not) anymore if these are in city/county govt buildings...right?

Re: Went to Topgolf West Houston
Top Golf attracts customers that I'd guess don't identify themselves as golfers, much like miniature golf. Not that that belittles your point. However, I see the point that they're really not going to care much if I don't patronize them. I'd love to go again because it really is great family fun at...

Re: Senate Bill: ‘Must Retrofit’ Handgun with Smart Gun Tech
I am not trying to support evil and stupidity but RFID technology would be the key technology. How smart does that "smart" technology look when you pull the trigger in the 1.5 seconds you have to resolve a deadly threat and nothing happens? I know you know this, but... :banghead: RANT ON ...

Re: Fan with gun shown on TV chasing foul ball at Astros gam
I've seen plenty of parking lot fights in places like Baylor's Floyd Casey, Texas Motor Speedway, and multiple high school events (I officiate HS athletics). Maybe you could argue that those fights didn't end in death because guns weren't allowed...but you could just as easily argue that there might...

Re: I agree with Harry Reid and Hillary
This is what happens when you have career politicians. They sell their souls to the idealogues that control the party purse strings so that they can get re-elected...and trade their ability to think for one more election cycle. Before you know it, they are spouting off stuff that they never believed...

Re: University of Texas (UT) Campus Carry page
I sent the survey...asked them to consider lockers outside locations where CC will not be allowed. If someone is walking from a parking spot up to 2 miles away from a campus event, they shouldn't have to disarm for that dangerous walk through some shady neighborhoods.

Re: Legal to shoot snakes in yard?
Even with ordinances for discharging, if you are getting rid of vermin on your property you likely won't be cited. If so, most municipal judges would not find fault in Texas. However, know that you are 100% responsible for every round that leaves the chamber and shooting a gun in a residential area ...

A buddy of mine has a Kobalt Li-on hedge trimmer that he uses daily in his lawn service business. He swears it is great.
